Seeking advice
The very unpleasant feeling, when you have to make a decision, when you are in a state of not knowing what to do next, not seeing through the fog, having no clue how and when you will find the way out of the crazy labyrinth – we all know these kind of situation.
We tend to overthink things when we are caught up in our head. We might feel impatient, frightened or insecure, and that’s why we are looking for an answer in the outside world. We want to get it right! We want to figure it out! We want to find the missing piece! Right now!!
But what if there is no missing piece in the puzzle? What if we are just not seeing it yet because we are stressed out and overwhelmed by our thinking? What if the answer is already there, within us? And the reason, why we can’t see it, is because we try too hard? What if the answer to our questions will be there when it’s time and the state of overthinking isn’t the right way to find answers? What if we are looking in the wrong direction? What if there is no right or wrong?
Giving advice
It’s very tempting to give advice to someone you love. It’s very hard not to do it because you care about that person and you don’t want to see someone struggle. Additionally, you might have had a similar experience in the past, and that’s why your ego feels like wanting to share that. It sometimes happens that we give advice and the person in front of us continues with „Yeah, but.. „. Or the person immediately realises that your advice compared with what he/she really wants doesn’t fit. So the conversation might end up as a weird discussion or even an argument, which isn’t what you wanted and leads you two further away from the original needs of finding inner peace, a calmer mind and clarity.
Finding peace
That’s the state of no return, when everything makes sense again, when the brain fog is clearing up, when clarity comes through, when time stands still, when you get this warm, fulfilling feeling in your stomach – we all know these kind of situation.
It’s the moment when you realise that all the pros and cons are not as important as you thought they would be. It’s the moment when your intellect aligns with your mind and soul. That’s the place where everything comes together. That’s the space of infinite potential and infinite possibilities. That’s when you are fully present in the very moment, when you don’t need advice from the outside anymore. That’s when you realise that your psychological well being is totally independent from your circumstances. That’s the space of freedom, peace of mind and wealth. That’s the place you want to be!
It’s available to all of us. Open that space within you. It’s there, in the now. Listen carefully.
